July 28, 2002 | Other
The anniversary of Elvis Presley's death is to be marked by a four-part series on BBC Radio Two next month, dotmusic can report. The series 'Elvis' begins on August 13, at 8.30pm and will feature the likes of Paul Gambaccini and Stuart Maconie, presenters on the station, plus a selection of music industry figures. Each personality will present a personal account of a certain area of The King of Rock'n'Roll's life, 25 years after his death. The series will feature archive material and new interviews with Presley's 'inner circle'.
