Elvis Quiz

August 11, 2007 | Other
For the Parade website we created a 50 question Elvis quiz to mark the 30th anniversary of Elvis' death. The visitors of the Parade site can play the quiz next week, but the visitors of ElvisNews can already have a go and test their knowledge.

How much do you really know about the The King of Rock 'n' Roll? Did you know he had an identical twin brother? Do you remember his spontaneous visit with President Nixon? Did you know that he never once gave an encore?

The questions range in skill level: Any self-respecting music fan will breeze through the early ones; only die-hard Elvis fanatics will get the last ones right.

When you're finished, send it to a friend and see who does better - or write a few of your own questions and share them in the comments section at the end. Also, please be sure to keep track of your score - the quiz will not calculate your results.

Since when did Elvis and Priscilla name their daughter Lisa-Marie, it's Lisa Marie; and this is outrageous "18. Elvis ranks No. 2 on the list of bestselling recording artists of all time. Who’s No. 1? ". And I always thought that he used "Jon Burrows" when he flew to Washington, D.C. in 1970, not "John Carpenter". And this is the only thing I get at the end: "Add up the number of correct answers and see where you rank:", I don't see any numbers.

an article printed on this web site states clearly that ELVIS has sold more records than any other artist including beatles other than that it's a real fun quiz.

Palle, thanks for the correction, Parade changed it. You have to count your score yourself, as the text clearly states. "Don't Ask Me Why" as Elvis used to sing...

Thanks but Parade hasn't changed it - at least not in their quiz; I was taking it again, just now
