Elvis Presley No 2

August 09, 2007 | Music
Elvis Presley No 2 has been released, the cd is a remake of Elvis' second album as it looked when it was released in Britain in April 1957. The content is the same as on the original album, but the design is not.

Couldn't they have come up with a better phrase. Was it called this back in 1957? No.2?

Yes it was!

There are also supposed to be only 300 copies, which of course means that this is an instant collectable.

This looks like a nice collectible. I am fortunate to own an original HMV vinyl copy, which cost me a (then) weeks wages in 1984. Did we ever fathon out why HMV changed the cover? They kept the US cover for the first album, but designed their own for this one. While I love this unique HMV cover, the US version could not have been bettered.
