Pity the six movies are not Kissin' Cousins, Girl Happy, Tickle Me, Stay Away Joe, Live A Little Love A Little and Charro. Not to mention On Tour as well!! Don't we all own the above mentioned titles already?!

The elvis movies you mention, EJF, are well known by most of the fans, too. TCM programmed these movies lots of times and if you have the right contacts you owe the lesser known, too. so, overall only interesting for newcomers.

I own those movies on tape (some Betamax tapes)...wish the dvd's would come out though. Did you guys notice that a song or two in each movie is now in stereo? Wish they'd do the whole movie in real stereo!

I mean DVD when I said in stereo...not fake stereo, but real stereo. GI Blues has some tracks as does Paradise Hawaiian Style...

Don't know if it's good or bad...If they want the general public to buy these...man, it takes much better and more innovative marketing than just this offer...Most of the 450,000 fans have those already many times over on Betamax, VHS, etc etc...So, in order to be marketed successfully, don't put them in a bag with 5 others...it just won't do the job. You need to offer also a PLUS with it for the general public to bite...and also lots of fans! Example: bring out Clambake at a competitive price but with it comes a CD with the album (but with "added" outtakes that makes you laugh and become part of the studio environment where Elvis was gigling and joking around...just an example). Now that, the general public has not yet heard and might be curious to hear those studio bloopers....(while we don't have yet on DVD the filmed bloopers of Elvis' movies...now that should be great). And yes guys & girls: we want, we need EonTour Concerts of 1973 (12 of them, maybe not complete, but that does not matter) onDVD edited to the bone, i.e. no interviews or junk, no just our King on stage during those 12 concerts (Fan version should run longer than 3 hours!) and afterwards edited for the world OK Your suggestions are welcome.

Speaking of Stereo movies. I saw "Viva Las Vegas" on TCM a few weeks back and it was in stereo! Not just all the songs, but some of the sound effects like doors closing etc. I pulled out both my DVD's and played them. They were MONO! I feel cheated. Paying that much for DVD's and come to find out they're done in stereo and not available to us. The picture quality on TCM's version was much better than my DVD's too. That really made me mad because we all expect top quality with DVD's and we're not getting it. As a matter of fact, in some cases the VHS video and sound quality is superior to the DVD releases. Anyone else notice this?

I don`t know about that compilation....best mixed with worst? Nuh, I guess this is another tin can the real fan don`t need to possess. But- on second thought - maybe as a gift for a NEWBEE not a bad collection. Even though herefor the wild mixture would have to contain either "on tour" or "TTWII" as well.
