How many times we have these tracks in our collections???

You don't "have to" have this set in your collection! Is some BMG executive going to come round to your house, twist your ear and run you all the way down to the nearest record store and actually force you utter the immortal words "I'll have this great new collection please Miss"? No Marco, the answer is unequivocaclly "no".

I think these releases are great. Of course not for us long time jaded Elvis fans, but for the new upcoming fans just starting their collection.

I have had all these songs for twenty years, please stop already.

this is one of the only releases I will buy but will it be released outside Canada?

I no longer have a problem with the constant re-issues because I feel they are aimed at the new or casual Elvis fan who may not have these songs. But for the lifelong die-hard fans that keep buying them every release and have these songs 20 times over, what is wrong with you?

I would answer to "stu"... First of all sorry for my bad English. I think that in these last years BMG/SONY worked very very bad 'cause they don't release some CD's including outtakes (like FTD). They release only the same packages with the same songs!!! Elvis' Christmas songs was relased so many many times in many many ways that every Elvis' fans have got it a hundred times! This is my opinion.

Ciao Marco! I know what you mean. However, as a long time fan I must say that the last 10-15 years (longer even) have seen some fantastic releases- many as you indicate, on FTD. The Christmas packages sell so well though that from a business perspective alone, one cannot knock BMG for releasing them. A presto Stuart

Re-releases (in any format) are how Elvis Music is put out there for the younger fans. How else do we continue to keep the King #1. It is up to each individual to not buy duplicates unless there is something offered. It's called $$$
