Probably as part of an advertisement for music downloads from eircom.net. They styled a phonebooth Elvis Style. Songs can be downloaded for 50c each. There are other music celebs also on the phoneboxes, like Madonna and Britney Spears.

This is an advertisement for music downloads from eircom.net. Songs can be downloaded for 50c each. THere are other music celebs also on the phoneboxes, I think one is meant to be Madonna, another is Britney Spears I think. ELV1S is the only intantly recognisable image though.

The photo is from the, "Fingal Independent", a weekly newspaper in Swords, Co., Dublin, Ireland. Yours truly supplied Elvis's face to the figure;-) The full article went on to point out the amount of companies using Elvis's image to advertise their products. "The King of Commerce", and advertising. Nice publicity coming up to Christmas.
