It´s so obvious that they don´t want to release this great film as a dvd. I mean, just look at that karate movie (new gladiators), that is to be released soon. I have nothing against that release, but I can´t believe it is to be released before Elvis on tour. Really, who cares about an itunes release, it´s the dvd that matters

A release of this kind is actually good news, even if you do not use iTunes. I say that because it means that any copyright and royalty issues, which may have delayed the DVD have been resolved. So, if it can be legally issued on iTunes then surely it can be legally issued on DVD (at least in the USA). This may be an indication that the problems have been resolved and a DVD release might, I say, might be on the way.

I have to say while this may be good news of a pending DVD release, it feels like a slap in the face as an Elvis fan. This is the holy grail of Elvis movies to me and while I would prefer a release on blu-ray a DVD release would be great. Here's hoping that we'll see it soon.

I gotta say, it's better to get used to itunes as it's the future for the music industry. I just might download this one.
