According to "The Sun Herald" Elvis is the king. You told them so. Earlier this month, they asked readers to tell them who tops the list of famous Mississippians. Not too surprisingly, the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, who hails from Tupelo, garnered the most votes - a whopping 20 more votes than his closest second.
