Elvis' Last Car Exhumed

The last car that was bought by Elvis, a Lincoln, was released from a concrete tomb where it has been stored for the last 20 years. Dean Lewis from Geargia bought the car at auction where it was presented by Larry Geller. The reason why it was stored in a closed tomb is unknown. Luckily enough, the car dealer realised that the car was rotting away and decided that Elvis' 72th birthday was the perfect moment to tear down the tomb and restore the car. Once the car looks 'as new', Lewis will decide if he will sell it.

In a tomb for 30 years and rotting now? Great if it is the original car but why keep it in storage for so long? I would have thought the best place to prevent a car from rotting was to leave it in the tomb. Perhaps cashing in for the 30th anniversary could be the reason?

Why sell it? It would be such an honor for me to own anything of Elvis; I would never ever sell that. But it is a wonderful present to all the other Elvis Fans to SHARE it with them by exposing it savely for the rest of the Elvis World to see it, adore it, maybe touch it. THIS would be a great thing to do with the King`s Things, not sell it. And maybe use the money for something on their own. It always touches me in a peculiar and horrible way when I read someone sells an item that was basically an Elvis relict.

Always the same with things surrounding Elvis. Especially when it's possible to (in this case maybe) BUY it. With every "special" Elvis occasion something that was supposed to be lost is found. LP's, Tapes, Cars, what's next? Nice car though;-)

Elvis' Lincoln exhumed, EPE selling the talking head, next we'll Colonel Parker land on the white house lawn in a flying saucer Giving an Elvis live at the White house again, and Pris in the first row showing off her "big Lips" or super suction cups as you will, and Lisa having a Brain transplant with a moth. PS the moth is smarter.
