All new music is not boring and sounds alike, just the crap that plays on the radio and sells. There are many artists (new and old) out there releasing new music that is quite good and its real music. You just have to search around and be open to give it a listen.

You have to face the fact that not all fans think the same Steve, it's something you have to accept, no offence

Even Elvis acknowledged the change's in the musical field......."the Beatles, the beards etc" and having a wide range of musical taste's is ok for some fans and other fans only feel Elvis Presley music is what they prefer, for me i'll alway's have Elvis music at the forfront of my particular taste, after all it's what i have been into for along time now.Of course i listen to other music and have a nice selection of different music i go back to sometimes but 99.99% of my listening pleasure is devoted to the Music of Elvis Presley.

I know Jesse, all fans dont think the same, but do you mean the majority of fans on here dont think that any good music has been released since Elvis died in 1977? Sometimes thats the vibe I get here.

I agree with you on that steve, sure there's plenty other music to enjoy..and i do

Unfortunately, 'Elvis Is Back' (Legacy Edition) has dropped out of the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart after only one week. Very sad for such a great album.

Brian Quinn and you know the reason why it did drop out? zero promotion..that's the reason, so i'm not surprised.

Jesse Garon. I agree with you. I would really like to see an Independent Label take over Elvis' Back Catalogue. Independents are the 'in-thing' at present in the U.S.A. and are having great success.

I've always wondered why this album wasn't a huge success back in 1960 — perhaps his fans, and the public at large, were turned off by the guy's seriousness in his intent and the sheer scope of his artistic statement.
