Elvis' Involvement U.N. 60th Anniversary Uncertain

September 24, 2005 | Other
Earlier reports of Elvis' "If I Can Dream" performance being a key song in the televised 60th Anniversary celebrations of the United Nations now seem uncertain.

EIN contacted EPE who confirmed that they would be delighted if Elvis was part of the celebrations. However Robert Stigwood was puzzled by the quote from him, which he now can't recall. 'Stig' said that with all that is going on with the UN at present, it is not certain yet whether the show will actually happen. Whether Elvis and "If I Can Dream" will be a part of the show depends on the many factors involved in putting the production together, but EPE will not be an obstacle.

EPE told that if it the show is confirmed and Elvis is involved, they will issue an e-newsletter alert.

Stig Edgren, not Robert Stigwood. Stig Edgren/SEG Events is the producer for the U.N. 60th Anniversary show and is the EPE licesee/producer for Elvis-The Concert.
