EPE has announced changes to the Collector's Club, including the new name of Elvis Insiders. The official language from EPE is this:
"As an Official Elvis Insider, you'll know Elvis better than anyone. You'll have access to never and rarely seen photos, artifacts, video clips and documents from the Graceland archives. You'll be given confidential information, exclusive updates, and news about Elvis
before anyone else."
A few of the changes:
- new website www.ElvisInsiders.com to be launched on May 2
- new chat room, allowing EPE to host chats with people who knew or worked with Elvis or are involved with his career today
- new Graceland Online Artifact and Photo Archive, adding one artifact or rare photo each week and one video each month
- new WebCam looks out of Elvis's upstairs bedroom window

I think this is going to be great for Elvis Presley fans every where.i know i will love it myself.As a fan what to chat with other fans. I love Mr.Elvis Presley thank him for his songs the still touch my heart every time i play one of his Lp's or 45's.And he will never die to me as long as i have his music or his movies,so again thank you.

LadyPat feels that this is going to be great for Elvis Presley fans every where. The benefits are great and it sure will be good for us who belong to the present Collectors Club to be considered Elvis Insiders, but I hear that many fans who will not be Insiders , will feel like Outsiders now. Oh dear, the wrong name to re-name the club IMO. All this will do is divide (as already seen) some fans into the 'yes I am an insider' and the 'no I'm not an insider' types. All I can say is Mr Sillerman makes his first BIG mistake and I'm more than happy to stay an OUTSIDER looking in !

Looks like I am an Elvis outsider then.It is ashame we have to pay to be an insider.Not to worry there is plenty of Elvis sites to go on (lol)

I've been a member of the Collectors Club since it's inception back in July of 2002. I am not at all impressed with this new name. It will do nothing but drive a wedge between the fans.

Whether it's the "Insiders" or "outsiders", We'll rejoin only because of the great friends we have made ov er the years of bieng members.

I agree with US Male. I will continue to renew my membership because of the wonderful friends I have made through the club.
