Available now in the UK from the HMV music store is Uncut Legends ELVIS (issue 5) a 146 page magazine, the definitive guide to rock's ultimate icon. The magazine has a foreword by Bono and featuring quotes and comments from a host of stars and celebrities including several modern artists, Trevor Cajiao and Alfred Wertheimer.
The magazine has been compiled as a real tribute to Elvis, contains a lot if pictures, the usual mistakes but is overall very good with some fantastic photos that have not been over used in the past.

Haven't seen the Elvis one as yet, but the Bob Dylan edition was extremely good.

Just bought the magazine, I found it to be excellent even tho there are a few mistakes, tho Im not complaining as its very rare that an ELVIS magazine gets published in the UK. Wish it had featued more on the 70-77 period of his life as that is my favourite. MAGS

Got this today and it is indeed a fine read - and nice to see something praising such songs as Tomorrow Is A Long Time and Guitar man that we don't hear too much about!

Just picked this mag up this morning when I went to pick up A Little Less Conversation singles, gorgeous pics of the KING!! Very well done and a great piece to add to my collection! I also saw that they have now brought out the All Shook up boxes, unnumbered editions! I bought one of each, cd and vinyl, just to house my numbered ones in in case i don't manage to get the numbered ones affordably! They are going for SILLY money on Ebay, but he is worth it!! I have managed to get all the numbered cd's bar the first one and I am still looking for one I can afford!! I highly recommend this Uncut magazine, it is beautiful!

Nice to see Elvis on the cover of the "Uncut" magazine so plainly on view in bookshops even here in Irelandtoo. Elvis fan Bono presently on tour with U2 in the USA has become quite a prominent figure in the Elvis Presley world, his piece in the "Legends" magazine may have some influence in 2005?
