In the annual Top 2000 from the Dutch station Radio 2, listeners voted 17 Elvis songs in to the chart. Unfortunatley, the spectaculair rise of songs like 'Suspicious Minds' and 'In The Ghetto' last year, did not get a follow up as they dropped from the top 50 to below 100.

Yes, it's is a bad thing that Elvis didn't rise with most songs. Although there is good new's too. In the top 2000 of the year 2003, the song "Are you lonesome tonight" wasn't included. This year, it's position is #691 , so that's a very good sign. All my 10 votes were for Elvis!

It is a disgrace that Elvis's latest no.1 in The Netherlands 'A Little Less Conversation', never is listed. It is not mentioned on their list you can choose from. The only way to get it into the list is to use the wish list option. Though only one song can be noted down. Next year we have to unite to get A Little Less Conversation listed next year!
