February 28, 2004 | Other
Tomorrow, Elvis is being inducted into the Bay Area Blues Society's West Coast Blues Hall of Fame. Strangely enough EPE wasn't informed ahead and had to receive the news from local fans.

If I have my facts right wasn't Elvis the only performer in 3 Halls Of Fame before this. He's now outta sight of the competition. Its truly wonderful news.

All my life long I've been not knowing which one I love the most: Blues music or Elvis music. You know, this is one of the greatest news I've ever read in my life. I'm absolutely thrilled (in fact, I'm all shook up!)

Great news! I've always loved Elvis's way with a real good blues tune. Even seemingly slight movie songs like "Hard Luck" ("Frankie & Johnny"), "How Can You Lose What You Never Had?" ("Clambake" outtake) and "All I Needed Was The Rain" ("Stay Away, Joe") stand out under his bluesy touch. Maybe this new honor will prompt RCA/BMG to "Reconsider, Baby" and do an updated, upgraded "Ultimate Blues" Elvis compilation.

He truly was the King of music. Another honour bestowed for a musical genius who could sing anything. EP rules!
