Elvis For Kids

It seems the 'A Little Less Conversation' single does bring Elvis to a new generation. On the BBC kids programme Blue Peter there was a great feature on Elvis in the wake of 'A Little Less Conversation' - a 10 minute flash through his life concentrating on how cool he was and crediting him for the creation of modern rock/pop music. Really sympathetically done with no adverse slant, only stating that in the mid 70's his friends were worried about his health and that he died of a heart attack in 77. After the item, the young presenter openly admitted that she liked Elvis before she went to film in Memphis and that she came back as a total fan. They then finished with one of the presenters doing the Jailhouse Rock number - and very well too, actually! Then they plugged the forthcoming No 1s CD.
