The album "Elvis For Babies", originally released by Valley Entertainment, has been reissued in a CD tin. The original album featured 10 instrumental tracks of Elvis favorites including "Don't Be Cruel", "Are You Lonesome Tonight?", "Crying in the Chapel", "Wild In The Country" and "Wooden Heart". Each track was designed to relax babies and help them get to sleep.

Christ, the lunatics have taken over the asylum. Does this come with an "Official EPE product" sticker on it? Wouldn't surprise me if it does.

Elvis sang the lulaby "Big Boots" to the baby in GI Blues. He again sang another lulaby "Five Sleepy Heads" to the 5 children in Speedway. [This scene was included in the movie version shown in India and Malaysia, but was cut out in USA and other parts of the world.] I don't mind having this Instrumental tracks album of Elvis favorites to help me relax and help me get to sleep too.

I gave a copy of the original version of this cd to one of my friends who was expecting her first child. My friend later told me that both she and the baby truly loved the cd, and listened to it daily. I decided to purchase one for myself, and I love it too. The music on this cd is well composed, extremely beautiful, and very soothing. It really is the perfect cd to listen to as you're falling asleep, so don't hesitate to buy it for yourself. It is also a wonderful gift to give to an expectant mother, so you might consider buying it for that reason too.
