If these very expensive magazines contain "Highlights" from the book series then I think this is fair enough, as not everyone can afford the books. (Mind you, it might be cheaper to buy the books in the long run!) But, if these mags contain new photos not used in the books, one must pose the question why they were not included in the books? If this is the case I'm sure the answer will be that 'new photos have been acquired since publishing the books', which is not good or fair for purchasers of the books.
Weekly parts!!! Crikey, you'd need a loan application form to go for a year's subscription. It's costly enough for a quarterly publication.
Only surprised that the magazine does not come with weekly parts that eventually make up a working, talking, singing Elvis ?? Really after making a commitment to the 'Files' project surely that was all we needed, now we have JR & KC massive books at a massive price now a magazine??....love the way these are done by fans for fans but not everyone has deep pockets to keep up with the £65+ books of late so I guess really these are done for fans by fans......but only if you can afford it.
Good question Natha! Another way to get the fans for more money I guess. It never ends. When is enough enough?(and fans buy it all)
I thought the books were containing the ultimate photo collection of those years (as each volume is verry very expensive). So what are they offering with this series?
Just bought first year subscription so looking forward to receiving the first issue. I think the Charro pic above is great so hope that is in the first issue too. I know the subs are a little expensive but if the quality is the same standard as the books, then hopefully there will be some more great photos in each issue.
