Note: The authentic Elvis memorabilia featured was procured by the licensee from reputable sources outside of EPE and did not come from the Graceland/EPE archival collection.

Charlotte, N.C. – Elvis Lives from Press Pass is the first comprehensive trading card set ever to feature “Cut Signature” cards and exclusive memorabilia cards of Elvis Presley. In addition to these first-time product offerings, Elvis Lives trading cards capture the essence of “The King of Rock & Roll” in a 90-card base set featuring design and content fit for a king. This comprehensive set follows Elvis’ career from the 1950’s through the 1970’s and includes rare and never before seen photos, unique art cards, and a subset of black & white photography from Alfred Wertheimer.

There are even unique Elvis die cast cars packed in mass retail ‘box blasters’ along with 8 packs of cards.” The ultimate collection of memorabilia starts with authentic Elvis-worn shirt cards (e.g., western shirt from his 1968 movie Stay Away, Joe) as well as cards containing swatches from scarves he wore in concert. The first ever “cut signature” program for Elvis, Historic Cuts showcases autographs taken from signed Elvis bank checks. Also planned are authentic autographs of several people who were instrumental in Elvis’ career, both on-stage and on the big screen. The Elvis Lives set from Press Pass will include autographs from Yvonne Craig, Elvis’ co-star in It Happened at the World’s Fair and Kissin’ Cousins, James Burton, lead guitarist and leader of Elvis’ TCB band, D.J. Fontana and Scotty Moore, drummer and guitarist for Elvis throughout most of the 1950’s and 60’s, and Gordon Stoker and Ray Walker, members of Elvis’ back-up group the Jordanaires. In addition, there are limited edition Artist Proof autograph cards featuring the signatures of Alfred Wertheimer (Wertheimer Collection) and Joe Petruccio (Blue Suede Collection).

Elvis Lives also includes Elvis Fashions, a 12-card all foil insert capturing “The King” in famous outfits (1:6 packs). Collectors can also win a piece of Elvis history via instant win cards randomly inserted in packs. The prizes are 18” x 24” framed Elvis Gold Records which have a $200+ plus retail value! Product is slated for release the week of October 16, 2006 and will be distributed in two forms: $1.99 foil packs (5 cards per pack) and $19.99 “box blasters” which will contain eight packs of cards plus one of six unique 1/64 scale die cast cars featuring Elvis graphics.

Ever since I was a kid, Ive been a fan of trading cards. Started with the 1956 set of Elvis cards believe it or not. So, I may take a peek at these. I have all the other Elvis sets. But yes, another money ploy by the estate I'm afraid.
