Dozens of The paperback version of "Elvis By The Presleys", which has a great circa 1956 photo of Elvis on it's cover is on display in our bookshops here in Irelandtoo. I'll not be purchasing it right now...but may pick up a cheap copy later for one Euro....or less:-) It's real worth. What were they thinking of?!!!..........if they were thinking at all at all.

Any movie/book title with a twist is allways being reduced to a child type o´level when being translated here in Sweden. The bold title is now ELVIS "Family Presley´s own story". You can only imagine what the Elvis movies were named here to...:-)

Swedish: Family Presley's Own Story. I know, Jesper. When my own "Elvis: Thru My Eyes" was published in Swedish, they re-named it: "Elvis: Tidernas Story." How dreadfully exciting. It was translated by a high school English teacher. BUT ... sold out in 6 weeks and I bought my Danish wife a new Mercury Sable from the Swedish royalties. So, tach!

I refuse to contribute money to EPE or the Priscilla ego trip. I have seen the book - no big deal. IMO, the tv version was just a mish-mash of out-of-chronological-order EP clips. And Priscilla's mother and father and sister - Presleys? Hardly.
