Elvis At The Cool Cat Stores

March 12, 2012 | Other

Last January, Elvis Presley Enteprises announced new licensing deals with fashion chains such as Benetton, Dolce & Gabbana and H&M. This week, we were pleasantly surprises to see another line of Elvis clothing in the very popular teen fashion stores The Cool Cat, with affiliates in almost every European city. Posing here with her brand new Elvis T is Alissia Van Erp. The answer to the question on the shirt - Do You Know Where ElvIS has only one answer: Everywhere!

Does this t-shirt come in "wet"? Because she would REALLY look good then.....

It's always great to see young fans! This girl is proud to be an ELVIS fan. And she is quite right. Way to go Alissia!

Freedom - you are really something in your comments. I have 2 teenagers. They dont listen to Elvis (they like him) but they prefer to listen to todays music(no rap thank goodness). So thay are dumb? Just like we were dumb in the 50's listening to this new rock & roll? What a stupid comment you made.

Good grief! I don't think Freedom meant to pick on any particular teenagers or teens in general when he made the statement that all teens today aren't dumb when it comes to music. I know he was inferring Elvis but I took it to mean that many teens today do listen to different genres of music & assorted artists. They have their favorites but are willing to listen to other singers, bands, etc. A lot has to do with parental influence. If a parent is open to all genres of music from the time a child is a baby until adulthood, that child will always go with the music of his/her peers but will still maintain a love & respect for other genres. I am thankful to this day that my father was willing to listen to & accept Elvis & rock & roll while still encouraging me to listen to other forms of music.

Steve V, I doubt very much there are many fans here who listened to R'n'R in th 50s - most of us weren't even born until the 70s at the earliest....

I see. Well that explains some of the posts I guess

If you missed the 1950's then you missed an explosion in music that will never happen again. for those of you who came later nothing can make up for those moments in time.

SunRecords56, you are so right. All the things that happened later on are just the follow up. Like the universe developing while the big bang was unique in its kind. Elvis is like the highest mountains; While a few stand tall, others are just sliding down the slopes. Most of it is just rumbling down in the deep valley.
