Elvis' 50 Greatest - Sales Success

It has been announced today by RCA Great Britain, that "Elvis' 50 Greatest" has gone "double platinum" after just four weeks, the company having shipped in excess of 600,000 units of the double CD. Currently standing at number 9 in the UK charts, these additional sales (100,000 over the weekend) would give the album a number 5 chart position next week if charts were published over Christmas. In the meantime the album reached the Irish Top 10 too, it's also on the number 9 spot there.
