Documentary Explores Elvis Presley’s Generosity

March 04, 2002 | Video
A new documentary DVD (Region free, NTSC) titled 200 Cadillacs will detail one aspect of Elvis Presley's personality that is casually discussed but never explored. Elvis Presley was often generous with family, friends and associates and even total strangers. The King's gift of choice was a shiny new Cadillac. An estimated two hundred of these gems of the road were given away between the years of 1956 and 1977. The production team of Dan Griffin, Rex Fowler and Susan Rod Graham sought out recipients of gifts and captured personal stories of those close to Presley from his early climb to stardom to his death a quarter century ago. The documentary also has a sound track with special recorded tracks.

Many never before seen personal photographs of Presley are interspersed with the interviews for the film.
