I watch this on tv when it aired and my favorite performence was the Love me version performed by Norah Jones. She just have a beautiful voice

I agree - Norah Jones was the best by far and sang a great version of Love Me.

I agree with you Elvisnites. This show was boring and annoying to say the least. Miranda singing Jailhouse Rock was awful, I'm sure Elvis has spinned in his coffin. Faith Hill's Peace in the valley was horrible. I think only Toby Keith's Mystery train was OK. But thank God they didn't put on the CD the worst of it all, Celine litterally ruining Can't help falling in love...what a pathetic performance from her once again !...She was the last straw...I was lucky to have the remote on my lap at that moment so needless to say that after the first few notes I changed the channel...No offense but Larry King is so much more beautiful than Celine !!! LOL

Personally, I thought that Celine Dion's version of 'Can't Help Falling In Love' was excellent and very original. Her tribute to Elvis was the best I have ever heard expressed.

Poor Brian, I feel sorry for you, she's not on the CD...No offense but some probably thought she was not worth being on it !

Most probably licensing problems prevented Celin Dion's rendition of 'Can't Help Falling In Love' from being in the album. That doesn't mean it is good, nor that it is bad. In today's music it seems irrelevant. Promotion is all that matters and in that sense it would be good for both the album and Celin if her song was included.

I had no interest in watching the show when it aired, and I have no interest in buying this.

Deke - Bruce does a good job on VLV. Very rockin. It was recorded a long time ago, not for this special.
