I was in the Media Market - our biggest media store chain in Germany- today and had time to doze around in there. All I found was remakes and remakes and remakes, mostly of the early years at the time. CDs as well as DVDs. Elvis had so many fantastic songs he did in the 70ies that are still unpopulair, some even unknown to most people. I have them mostly on MP3`s - and I am sure they would be fascinating a whole lot of (maybe even) new Elvis Listeners and along with this Elvis Lovers. Why do they always bring out the same known titles, with a new cover? Some day people will stop buying them, because they won´t have the money any more for buying tracks they already have 5-6 times in their shelves just because of the new cover, and just because they want the market on Elvis to stay up on top, which many fans do, I know, `cause they say so. I think that it would be about time to change the selection of songs and add on some (maybe live recorded) candids. To keep the fire burning also for those that are not as deep into Elvis like maybe me and some other "hardcorers". And to get some new people "hooked" on our man.

I suppose if you're a newbie this would be a good starter collection. I have all these songs many times over. So this set holds no allure for me.
