Songwriter and actor David Hess passed away on October 8, on the age of 75. Hess (co-)wrote I Got Stung (pseudonym David Hill), Come Along and Sand Castles for Elvis. In 1956 he recorded All Shook Up, which became an Elvis #1 a year later. Hess also wrote Pat Boone's Speedy Gonzales.
