Here is the cover art of the upcoming re-release of "Flaming Star" in the 20th Century Fox "Studio Classics" series. The DVD will be released, together with "Love Me Tender" and "Wild In The Country" on August 1, 2005.

Is that really Elvis in that picture. He looks really looks pumped up. I do not remember him looking that defined in the chest. But I do like the cover art over the other Flaming Star covers. Elvis really looks tough on this cover.

Flaming Star is ELVIS at His dramatic best next to King Creole. It is this superb movie and GI BLUES that made me become a hard-core Elvis fans in 1960. Long Live The Elvis Hollywood Classics.

I remember when this photo of Elvis was first released for the "Flaming Star" film. I saw an article that pointed out that Elvis` head was put on someone elses body. It also showed the real guy with his own head, of course. Elvis was in great physical condition in that movie & I don`t understand why they needed to do that or why he didn`t stop it. Guess we`ll never know, but it doesn`t take away from the movie...it was & still is a great movie.
