I remember when this photo of Elvis was first released for the "Flaming Star" film. I saw an article that pointed out that Elvis` head was put on someone elses body. It also showed the real guy with his own head, of course. Elvis was in great physical condition in that movie & I don`t understand why they needed to do that or why he didn`t stop it. Guess we`ll never know, but it doesn`t take away from the movie...it was & still is a great movie.

Flaming Star is ELVIS at His dramatic best next to King Creole. It is this superb movie and GI BLUES that made me become a hard-core Elvis fans in 1960. Long Live The Elvis Hollywood Classics.

Is that really Elvis in that picture. He looks really looks pumped up. I do not remember him looking that defined in the chest. But I do like the cover art over the other Flaming Star covers. Elvis really looks tough on this cover.
