Although I don't think the CD will sell huge numbers and is mainly for the existing Elvis fan, I've gotta say that ''If Everyday Was Like Xmas'' is absolutely fantastic. One of my favourite songs of all Elvis time. Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't Red West write the song and also sung a brilliant version too ?. PS - I'm in a bit of shock, tonight at peak time on ITV1 on UK television, I saw an advert for Elvis 2nd To None !!!

Christmas Peace has entered the UK chart at Number 41 which is very good news indeed. Maybe it could go higher next week if the advertisement campaign continues. Even though this is a single disc in the UK some record shops are selling the EU 2 disc version which I picked up this week. Shop around. The sound quality is excellent with 'Merry Christmas Baby' sounding fantastic. In my opinion the greatest Christmas song ever. Andy

This is an excellent release from BMG(UK) which will sell very well over the festive season. I agree with BMG that this should be a single release in the UK as Gospel music is not as popular here as in the U.S.A. Yes, we already have all the tracks, but the cover is something special and worth the price of the album alone.

Theres only one question Why? what we need is achristmas cd with outtakes on it could even be on the ftd label if bmg think it wont sell I for one will not be spending any more money on this type of release. At the moment there has been al arge volume of Elvis releases and I do not have endless pockets to reach into . Do bmg realy think that uk fans will put up with this type of rubbish release. what we need is more ofthe ftd type release but a bit cheaper on the pocket. And what can I say about ELVIS 30 NO1S DELUXE just one word RIP OFF .

A good cover ? Idont buy my elvis cds or lps ect for there covers I still think its arip off a single cd with the same old songs how about a new cd with a few alternate takes .I have at least 5 xmas cds all ready could do with a bit of a change and as for country elvis Iwouldnt mind a bit more . Ana why do we in the uk allways have to be different could it be any thing to do with the money No I guess Not?

Not only is this a great looking CD, the sound is absolutely superb! It would be great to see "O Come, All Ye Faithfull" released as a single to promote it perhaps, with an unreleased take of "White Christmas/Blue Christmas".

I'm really pleased to see that TV advertisements in the UK have now started, I love the cover art work, and the TV ad ties in so well with that. I know of many younger Elvis fans who will love this album at this time of year, and it's great for the general public to be able to obtain the album with it's improved sound quality.

I'm delighted they opted for the single cd, too much crammed into 1 album is a tern off for the general public. I would have preferred a 14 track album, it would sell waaaay more. But this album should chart anyway. We always needed a Christmas album with only Christmas songs. This is the same trck listing as White Christmas with the 5 gospel songs removed. This album should be on the shelves every Christmas from now on, won't need any other. We could do with a single though!! Blue Christams/ Santa Bring my baby back to me would do just fine!!! Although I love It Won't Seem Like Christmas Without You too...

Are they doing TV-ads for this one in England now - if so - great job, BMG! And for 2nd...? You English think it will chart? Anybody know the sales figures in Britain for 2nd to none? By the way, how is the Beatles doing - rumers have it they printed up 5 million copies of their last release in England alone...
