Salut Audio and Video from Denmark has released a low-price edition of "Charro" on DVD in its 'Hollywood Classics' series. The packaging is very simple, and consist of a composite of two Elvis pics, one from the movie and one from 'Love Me Tender'. The picture quality is slightly better than the one that was released in the States last year, but it's still far from perfect. The colours are quite dull. The audio is also very average, and the dynamics are low (mono). But the producers are honest, the box contains a warning that the quality is below par.
The playing time is one hour and 38 mins, and it appears to be more complete than the U.S. version. Screen ratio is 4:3 (TV format), subtitles are available in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish, the region code is "2".
