There seems to be no end to the bad tidings these days from the former Elvis musical entourage. According to several email messages, Sherill (Sean) Nielsen suffers from cancer of the lungs.

Very bad news... It's a very serious illness,Charlie Hodge suffered from this,too. I always liked Sherrill's singing voice. Especially when he sang 'Softly As I Leave You' with Elvis. I wish him a speedy recovery. Be strong,Sherrill! (PS: his name is Sherrill and not Sherill as we see above).

get well buddy. it really sucks getting old. granted im only 30 but ive seen these guys when they were younger on videos and during these concerts they have to keep elvis alive and you watch them grow old. these are all great people and i hate to se ethem fall ill like this. elvis wouldnt want them to keep performing if they were this ill in fact he would wish theyw ould retire and take care of themselves and enjoy life. but instead they keep pleasing us fans to keep elvis's memory alive. we owe all thes epeople our grattitude and should honor there voices as well as elvis's.

Good point Mofoca22 my eldest sister recently passed away because of this horrible desease. Mr Nielsen is in my prayers
