Canadian Edition Christmas Duets

BMG Canada will release a Canadian edition of the "Christmas Duets album. Besides the different cover it contains the Canadian duet version of "On A Snowy Christmas Night" with Renee Martel (from Quebec).

The global set will be promoted with a one-hour radio special and a special video of the "Blue Christmas" duet with Martina McBride which will be distributed to all video outlets.

Releasing the video with Carrie Underwood would have guaranteed a hit for Elvis, another missed opportunity. Martina McBride has a wonderful voice, Carrie has huge sales.

For those fans who like 'Duets' and 'Remixes' I can tell you that there will be more of both to look forward to next year. I have a feeling that the 2009 Duets Album will outsell the 30 No.1 Hits if given sufficient TV exposure.
