Music Week awarded Awards for the best advertisement campaigns of 2005. The Music Week Awards categories are decided in a variety of ways. Professionals are invited to submit entries for our judged awards, and to encourage their clients and contacts to vote for them in the voted awards. In the category "Best Catalogue Marketing Campaign" the winners were Charlie Stanford & Darren Henderson of BMG for Elvis Singles campaign.
Judges were asked to assess the campaign on the following criteria:
Innovation and creativity in the conception of the campaign;
Quality of the marketing tools created or effective use of existing tools (eg. databases, artwork, TV/radio ads, merchandise, online presence, etc.);
Effective use of the budget;
Overall success of the campaign in achieving its original objectives.
