"Dominic" was sung to a bull, but that doesn't make it a good song....

dgirl, i´m sorry but i just don´t like these 4 overrated guys from Liverpool. But... in my opinion Blue Hawaii is a good sountrack. The film was shot in Hawaii, so the songs are in Hawaiian style, and if you listen to them with that in mind, its a very good soundtrack album. Hawaiian wedding song, Blue Hawaii, Can´t Help Falling In Love, Hawaiian Sunset, great tracks. And Elvis´ voice was superb on these tracks. Aloha!

JJJ: The "Blue Hawaii" vinyl package is what's known as a collectable. I don't buy many of those, but I will buy this one. Why? Because it's collectable that interests ME. Not profitable? If it wasn't deemed as something that would be profitable it wouldn't see that light of day. Not professional ? What? Ernst and crew have their releases planned for they year. "Blue Hawaii" and "SRO" are two of them. The vinyl packages of these items will in no way affect the other 'classic' cd releases. Hey! How about a vinyl of FEIM when then get around to the FTD 'classic' cd release? I'd go for that. Calm down. Everytrhing will be released in time. Most of us can't keep up now. I know I can't, and I don't buy every release.

I am extremely happy with my set of original LPs, though I don't listen to them anymore. The CDs are (when applicable) crystal clear, so mostly more enjoyable. Yet I don't see the point of buying this release. It lacks for me the feeling of lore when they were new and related to something I had seen or heard. I agree with Janosjumpsuitjunkie I would rather see them spend their efforts to releases the fans are waiting for. I skip this one. One good point though, that means more available for those who love these releases. I rejoice in that.

dgirl i use to be the same way i admit, the beatles had there success as did Elvis,he is the one who sang the songs, he is the one who went through hours and hours to get these silly songs right,as me and you talked on another thread ,i like spinout,no its no cliassic, but i find blue hawaii to be nothing special at all,and some of the songs are nither fun, rockin,or flowing with great lyrics!

To the people with the soap comments. You make it hard for Elvis fans to be recognized with any sort of intelligence. There you go trashing The Beatles again. Be honest & grow up. The truth is, while this album sold a lot, it cant stand up to one Beatles LP on its own. It is a poor collection of songs except for CHFIL and maybe the wedding song.

He burton, please give me a piece of your soap ;-)

Vinyl Cutting at Abbet Road Studio's, where's that? Do they mean AbbeyRoad Studio's, Home of (and I will wash my mouth out with soap afterwards) "THE BEATLES".

I think the firts LP is the original album, and the tracklisting is for the bonus-LP. It's a great 2LP set, but I don't collect vinyl anymore.

Okay, I'm confused. The picture shows what appears to be two discs. The story lists contents of
sides 1 and 2. How about sides 3 and 4?
