The remixed songs (non-duets) from 2008 are fabulous. That should have been the compilation idea for this year, all new updates to give the songs a fresh sound. Much like the Viva Elvis album, this could have been the new approach to a Christmas comp (with no duets at all). For those who only want to hear the originals, they are available on 700 other comps. Let other fans have some fun and relax.

true danny i loved the remixes too - glad they're being given a second breath but why yet another comp? why not reissue the original christmas albums? that was a rhetorical question, i think we all know the answer... lol

Hey relax! No one said anything about there being any duets on this CD. It's clearly an Elvis-only CD. Besides the 2008 remixes of the three songs in question were nothing short of superb.

Well i reckon those remixed duets totally suck. i'm sick of these huge corporations messing with Elvis' music. The Original Christmas album is one of the biggest selling Rock 'n' Roll albums of the 1950's, in fact it is the biggest selling album of the 1950's in any so called genre. Trying to get Elvis to number 1 again is admirable, but its a bit like sending man to the moon, its been done. Elvis is King of number 1's , so relax. This guy is untouchable, so be proud of your great taste in music folks!!!

What is this? don´t they sell "christmas duets" down under? Do You like remixes and originals on one cd? At least the cover is great!
