Ben Weisman In Hospital

April 04, 2007 | People
Ben Weisman, who wrote a lot of songs for Elvis Presley, has been hospitalized in a Los Angeles, CA. and is currently fighting for his life. The family informed us to to ask the fans to pray for him and just maybe a miracle will happen.

Weisman said of Elvis: "Elvis was a very spiritual gentleman. And he had a great love for God. Very spiritual. I saw him in between the movie takes. And he was very kind to me. Very, very warm and we had a great rapport."

From the Wikipedia: "Weisman was one of Elvis Presley's chief songwriters throughout the 1960s. He co-composed over fifty songs for Elvis' movies and stage performances that proceeded to go gold or platinum, including First in Line, Got a Lot of Living to Do, Follow That Dream, and Wooden Heart." He will be in my prayers.
