The only performer that has ever done justice to a cover of "I Can't Help Falling in Love" is Michael Buble (Canadian, eh). It will be interesting to hear Manilow's version.

Alma Cogan did a nice version in the early sixties, and obviously Andy Williams had a big hit with the song. Brenda Lee sang a nice version on tour in the early nineties, which she dedicated to Elvis. I hated the cover versions by The Stylistics and UB40! I look forward to hearing Barry Manilow's version, he treats classic songs with the respect they deserve.

Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) does a great version of Can't Help Falling in Love on the bonus CD that came with his 2002 album 'Spin'. I hear he is a fan of the King - what good taste he has.
