Bargains At Bamford

November 06, 2011 | Other

The auction results of the Elvis Vinyl Auction at Bamford's are the opposite of what the auction house had hoped for. Several rare record were sold for next to nothing. The gold record on the right changed owners for 20 Pounds, the set of 10 fifties 45 rpms sold for 45 Pounds. Ebay would have been so much more profitable. Or as one member of the FECC Forum remarked: "This auction house does not have in-house packing and postage facility, is this a factor?"
