Award For Outstanding Achievement Goes To Joe Guercio

Last weekend, members of the Belgian fanclub ElvisMatters presented their annual “Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Elvis World (2005)” to Mr. Maestro himself, Joe Guercio. Joe accepted the beautiful silver plaque in person, and thanked the fans for their loyal and continuing support. In his acceptance speech, Joe mentioned that the ElvisMatters Award meant a lot to him, as it was given by the fans themselves. Previous winners of the EM Award were Al Dvorin (posthumously in 2004) and ElvisNews.com (2003).
