Why they have to release al those Cds at the same time,i simply ca'nt understand. I strongly believe that for BMG Elvis is just a milkcow that brings money in the basket.( and i do'nt mind that, but this is not good marketing) I buy the " love"Cd and i would buy the digitally remastered albums and the FTD albums, but not when they come at a rate of 20 CDs a year.

I MUST agree wit data. There are too many Cds at one time. We have the Ftd Cds and extra the BMG Cds. Lord, have mercy! TCB.

I have read somewere that general US law states that recordings become public domain after 50 years. If this is correct (?!) BMG's exclusive rights to Elvis will begin to expire this year, and that also other recording companies can release Elvis' 1954 recordings starting this year, Elvis' 1956 recordings in two years etc. etc. Then it is maybe not that strange that BMG (and FTD) have been pumping Elvis' early material into the market. However, I'm not sure if this is the case. Anyone know more on this?
