After a few years of continues chart presence Elvis Presley fell off the Music DVD chart this week. The "'68 Comebacks Special" DVD that climbed from #38 to #29 last week dropped off the charts this week.

Thats what its come to be known as here on elvisnews. It was basically the original show with the cuts scenes put back in. It was the show as it was originally planned before the studios got their scissors out. The directors cut was released on video waaay back in the 80's and re-released a few times it was so popular. I was really looking forward to a DVD release but alas someone somewhere thought they could do a better job by re-editing it and totally missed the point of it all.

Time to release the directors cut of the '68 special that was released on VHS! A far superior edit than this attempt.
