Elvis Presley's personal Martin D-28 guitar stage-used in his final Las Vegas performance ($60,000-$80,000) will be one of the items that is for sale on the Profiles In History auction. Other Elvis items are a Karate Gi and a original TCB necklace, given to Wayne Carman.

Although this guitar did belong to Elvis i always felt it was too plain and boring looking to be his. Maybe he wanted to harken back to the more simpler days of the mid-50's as he neared the end of his great life and this refelcted in his tastes.

who was the owner until now? Did Elvis give it away while closing in Vegas? I like it. A classic guitar. But it's not the size of my money wallet ;-)

I never got the "visual respect" for Martin but the money speek for it self( must be the sound then?)
