Ann Margret Nominated For A Grammy

January 07, 2002 | People
The recording "God Is Love: The Gospel Sessions" features Ann-Margret, the Jordanaires, and The Light Crust Doughboys with James Blackwood (the last surviving member of the original Blackwood Brothers) is nominated in the category "Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album".
It's not all that unreasonable a project, though, as Ann-Margret used Elvis Presley's backup singers, the Jordanaires, on the album and Margret and the King made the memorable duet "You're the Boss" way back in '64.
