Now that's more like it! I have seen this footage many times on vhs, is there any improvment on quality anyone?

Doncha Think It's Time EPE/CBS release their official special edition in pristine quality? It's gonna out sell ELVIS By The Presley. Everyone now has a copy of the bootleg (import) edition, but that's a poor quality, a pain to the ears and a hurtin to the eyes version. EPE's original DVD will sure brings in Lots of big bucks for Graceland Enterprises. And the Next Step Is To Release It, so what are you waitin' fer??

I hope EPE will sit on it until the end of times. There are already enough imposters and fans making a fool of Elvis. We don't need the media to jump on the worst performances ever. If it is to be released... do it on the collectors label, for extremely high prices. Maybe it will have a positive side then by making money for better quality releases on the FTD label (remix/ soundwise).

This is stuff that has not to be released by EPE... That will have a negative effect, Elvis is now more respected then maybe 5 or more years ago, To release this official and hand it out to everyone will do more harm then good! Yes maybe on a collectors label with that very high price would be one thing , I would like to have it , but I would not like to have all the people to have it...I can appreciate it ,as a real Elvis fan we accept Elvis beeing like this, and WE HEAR that he was still singin his heart out! But for the majority of people this will be more like a freakshow thing, like ...see how big he is , and ate 1000's of hamburgers peanutbutter bannana sandwisches and was stoned drunk etc etc...SO do not release this for the man who doesn't know!!! and does'nt understand!!

The sincerity is obvious Elvos but the average person wouldnt be interested in 'Elvis in Concert' sorry to say, cause personally I think it ranks as high as the 'aloha'.Anyway these 'people' you are talking about would find fault in Elvis regardless. Don't let it bother you T C B

I might, but I doubt it, since I skip things nowadays that I wouldn't have skipped a couple of years ago. I can only spend my money once, and I rather spend it on things I like than on things I know I will only watch once, and probably just partly.

I agree with most, Elvis In Concert should come out in perfect DVD picture and sound. I think most will be surprised on good it will be. Because all we have to look at now is the cheaply made import, bad sound and picture. EPE/CBS lets get working on this!! First Elvis on Tour for this Christmas.

The bootlegged version has been released so many times in so many different packaging and is so easily available everywhere, everyone seems to have a copy. BUT what we have until now are very poor quality copy of copies and they do make Elvis looks bad. It's about time EPE/CBS wake up and release a Special Edition with all the outtakes in Pristine quality. This will be a Collector's Treasure and a historical event for your DVD Library. Remember, Elvis at his worse is better than most at their best. And ELVIS IN CONCERT is definately not his worse, infact he sang great!!!

I have got all 3 Dvd's Vcd's ect and yes for boot leg they are what I would call good quality sound and picture. I have seen some that you could not even tell what it was or hear what was going on. I own the original CBS special which I expected to be a lot worse because of how bad I heard he look and sounded he was far from his worst in the special I have the entire rapid city and Omaha concerts and yes he is a little over medicated the voice is great though. I enjoy these concerts they look good but nothing like the clips EPE has realeasing the Concerts are not gonna effect Elvis one way or the other, non Elvis fans will not by an expensive collectors set, Elvis fans will and so will the media. Great they will air it on TV before the video starts in writing it should start somewhat like this. Elvis Presley was in very poor health during the time these concerts was filmed he is far from his prime and would pass away just six weeks later, this is a true testament to a devoted artist to perform with the numerous medications he had to take and the condition he was in. He truly was the King and poured his heart out to his fans until the very last. Also during the concert every so often maybe you should include a little talk (dear god not as much as the original contained) flashing a few pick of Elvis in his prime. Main point here the people who dont like Elvis will say the same thing they are saying now on some FTD sountrack labels Elvis sounds like he is gonna fall off stage but you know what I have them I am 27 I listen to all of them I am a true devoted fan and want every piece of film clip , music ect released. This will not affect anything but turn in a ton of money to EPE which I am sure they dont mind. Just my opinion (long Live The King) Chris Hattaway Cols GA

Hey guys,1`ve been away for a bit and don`t know exactly what possible release you guys are discussing. Is it Elvis On Tour, as in the Scorsese effort, or something new? Is it a new In Concert, or the TV aired one? And are these releases going to be available in stores for everyone to see? If someone could clarify that would be great, then i can give my, ahem, word`s of wisdom! TCB
