i just used Perry como to throw out a name....if you grew up in the 50's you'd understand you couldnt get any good music in NY unless u listened to allen freed at 7 pm other wise all you heard was the sickening sound of what the "good guys" wanted us to hear, not what us kids wanted to hear just like Pat boone singing tutti frutti,,,i got it right i was there it lived through it did u?

Perry Como, or any of the other so called "crooners" from the 50s were not considered cool. Get your facts right Mystery. But before Elvis lots of singers/ actors can be named as cool: Hank Williams, Big Joe Turner ( and many other black performers) James Dean, Brando, for a short while, Paul Newman, a.o. And not forgetting many a jazz musician, such as Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, a.o. Yes, before Elvis there was a lot of "cool"...

Elvis was cool no matter what he had on, jump suit, army costume, shorts, remember before Elvis, Perry Como was cool, now thats enough to ruin your day.

That's a right shirt, I want a shirt just like that. To Getlow maybe no one told him he look good with a shirt and trousers.

Awesome picture though... Wish he'd stuck to wearing the shirt and trousers, he looks like God
