This is going to be fantastic...... What will be the release date of this album?

See Ernst: No complaines, no angry fans. This is how you have to treat customers. This is the way the fans want their King. No, rubbish Songwriters book, no "bad recording" with scratches and mastering mistakes. It's just that easy and simple.

Is there no take 1 of the song "Wearin'that loved on look"?

I also got a flyer for Reclaiming the crown, it's a 6 CD Box set in great sound and for the price of 3 cd's. And now coming soon the American way 2, we are spoiled :-)

good news, but don't forget to listen to the cd's "Finding the way home'' and "American crown jewels" also

Without *any* reservation, this will be a fine, high-quality release, if Volume One is indication. "Southern Comfort," indeed.

Greg thats not a review your giving is it? if so i hope you did more than scan through a few tracks(joking) this does look very nice, and im guessing you have heard volume 1, very cool artwork, and if im not mistaken this series will make finding the way home and american crown jewels not needed if you dont have them already?

i got 'volume one' from the excellant 'now dig this' and it was the best import album ever released..far superior to the "finding the way home" cd and "american crown jewels" (which were very good import albums bt the way!)..the cd cover itself is worth the asking price alone!..never mind the much improved sound source-which was a real blast to listen to..it felt like elvis was in my living room when i played on my hi-fi stereo, especially the rare undubbed acetates 'don't cry daddy and 'mama liked the roses'(mama liked the roses on this cd sounded the best i ever heard of it,it was taken righ-back with no overdubbs and sounded as if elvis just went back to the studio and recorded the song day. all in all,a true must have cd import in any elvis fan collection;rush out and get while you can and then cherish it for ever.

this is what we want, great booklets info-why can,t sony /bmg take a leaf out of there book. Tickle me cd was 55 mins, rip -off, why was there not more takes, complete runs like here. after the complete sun years project why not do a complete American sound box with all takes, and put the video footage that exists on there as well! IF I CAN dream indeed.

This is what FTD should be doing. Screw the endless live show CDs and put out a super boxset like this with real meaning. Yes, scrap the Writing For The King type book projects also. We have gold sitting right here waiting to be collected and we have to rely on bootleggers for a crown jewel like this. I'd love it in a box with all known photos & video. I'm sure we'd all be willing to pay FTD their inflated prices for a set like this.

I haven't shelled out yet for "Writing for The King" but I'm glad it's out there. If anything, FTD has just been in over-drive and it's hard to keep up! But I agree: RCA/ Sony/BMG ought to revisit the '69 Memphis sessions one day, preferably the way they are with the Sun Box, and even better, if they could (like '99's "Susicious Minds" anthology) make it available in stores. Given the state of the CD market, that's wishing for two much, but then I see major boxsets still being issued. Mature: yes, I have volume one and haven't looked back yet. This label has the proper "pedigree" and can be trusted to deliver Class "A" releases time and again. Don't miss it, folks!
