All though I have different bootlegs from october 1976 I will buy this one because I've got the FTD fever ! I am always curious and want to keep up with my FTD collection I guess..

i'm buying it too. the song listing looks interesting and i like to support the label. im itching to know what the next classic album will be? seeing how great `good times` is i would like promised land or vol 2 of jailhouse rock..or the memphis albums.

just got a preview of the sound quality on this release and the sound quality is definately good.

I've heard the previews too. It doesn't exactly part your hair like the Fort Worth or New Haven CD's do but its a well balanced recording bar a few exeptions and Elvis seems to deliver some pretty solid versions too.

The next couple of days will be busy with releases,FTD,MRS CD(Off duty) , MRS BOOK and SPRINGTIME TOURS all out,who says being a Elvis fan is boring??.Looking forward to all this and let's hope Minesota is another good FTD release.Where is the news on future releases from Ernst and co gone......last press release stated it would be end of January????........or is this delay like some of the releases over the years.

Heard this yesterday. Another show where Elvis is asleep. Although it's a 'new' show I felt like I'd heard it all before. More poor versions of songs and further evidence of how much trouble he was in at that time. 'One Night' is awful - even 'Hurt' is lame. Good sound quality, but so what? It's still a poor show.

Just got it today. Good show, much better than New Haven and Omaha 76. The sound quality is quite good, too. Not a fantastic show, but good to have. All in all a worthy addition to the collection. Love,Erika

I agree with Erika, much better than New Haven and Omoha, on this new cd his voice is not floating away as on the other ones and much on the 1976 shows. "One night" is a funny and good version by 1976 standards, certainly not awful and Hurt is fine too. The mix is different on this cd though, piano more upfront than normal f.e. not a perfect balance. You can hear that in October Elvis was sounding (and looking) much better than in the summer, which continues to improve till December, Vegas mostly good and then the 5 top days at the end of the year. Too bad for the terrible cover, the rest (including the photo's of this show) are fine!
