Madison just released A Hilton Double-Shot!, which offers two dynamic soundboard recordings from the Las Vegas Hilton with improved sound, for those collectors who may have missed them the first time around.
CD 1 features the Monday, September 4, 1972 DS, the penultimate appearance of his 1972 "summer festival." Elvis offers a gentle, wry performance for his fans, including "about 250" from England.
CD 2 unleashes the Friday, February 2, 1973 MS, a period where Elvis returned to "Sin City" a conqueror of all media.

Janos, I think Flaming Star fan club from Norway is working on a rather comprehensive book-project on Elvis' stage clothing 1969-77. They are aiming high and I know that there will be many unseen photos from Pål Granlund's huge photo-collection., and I know they have beautiful shots from this season as well:-) For the CD, why don't you just make a print of the cover instead...?
To the clown who says he'll buy this just for the jumpsuit picture on the cover: words fail me. I do hope you get to see the lining of the cape as well - it's so very important after all, isn't it? Much more important than his music, eh? If anybody wonders why Elvis fans are laughed at then look no further than this.
What Now, What Next are they going to bring out for all serious Elvis Fans to be laughed at. I have to agree with Harvey on this one it's pitiful that someone would actually buy this CD just for the picture of the jumpsuit again what about his music that's much more important to me. Some Elvis fans i just don't understand.
Guess Janos Jumpsuit's comment was not well formulated. The guy really does like the music of Elvis just as we do. I read his comments on other topics, believe me, he cares as much for the music as we do. No need to call him " a clown ". Always El.
I agree - to buy a CD for the jumpsuit Elvis is wearing on the cover is sort of a ridiculous reason. Especially for a guy! If he does care about the music more than the clothes(I hope) its still the way the comment comes across to the average person who would ridicule it and lump us all in the same boat. And the shows? Same old stuff, but maybe Elvis clears his throat once more in between a song or two. Now there's a reason to purchase!

(Did you guys have to jump ugly on him? I'm not ashamed of most Elvis fans and it's the pure Elvis hate and igorance that bothers me... Obviously this is another premium Madison release - upgraded sound in a deluxe , quite beautiful digipak. How do I know? I just got it tonight! It's a real beaut! If you're jaded about Elvis' music or import CDs, than perhaps it's time to step back and realize that such titles are for hard-core fans who champion great rare titles that pack a whallop. Hats off to Madison for another fine release. Collectors, start your engines!
