A Greensboro Revolution! Out!

August 15, 2008 | Music
The latest escape from the Madison import label, "A Greensboro Revolution! - Standing Room Only Tapes Volume One", is out if the various sources are correct. This performance, recorded in Greensboro, NC on Friday, April 14, 1972, in the presence of MGM's documentary cameras, has been issued many times in the past, but never in such great sound quality according to the original press-release. For the very first time, hear the show mixed down from MGM multi-track tapes into superb stereo.

Already bought and paid for, I can't wait for it to arrive! I'm looking forward to Volume 2. Maybe it will be the complete Hampton Roads Concert. That would be sweet! I agree wholeheartedly with circleG. FTD, where are you?

Does anyone know the difference between this one and the earlier release by Triangle?

The sound in this release is one zillion times better that the april 72 another one released by BMG a few years ago in a certain box, it was absolutely dull.
