May 25, 2000 | Other
Kokkola, the local radio station in Kokkola, Finland, will air over 41 hours of Elvis music this upcoming weekend. The 41 hour long Elvis show starts on Friday and ends on Sunday morning and is hosted by Petri Kuikka and Timo Nyberg who has already organized 6 different Elvis shows for Radio Kokkola. Two years ago the show lasted for 40 hours and it included about 500 Elvis requests. The "Elvis Iskussa!" studio is in the window of local furniture shop because Isku means in English "in top form". So, the English name is "Elvis in top form". There will be interviews with Finnish artists and fanclub members.
