I have wished for the wealth
Of a great millionaire
I have reached for a bright star above
But the thrill of it all
To me seems so small
When compared to the thrill of your love

I'd rather give everything
That I own in this world
Than to be all alone and unloved
For no earthly price and no sacrifice
Is too much to give
For your love

I'd rather give everything
That I own in this world
Than to be all alone and unloved
For no earthly price and no sacrifice
Is too much to give
For your love

This sounds like 50's song, which isn't bad at all. Elvis sounds very at home on this one.

I have grown to really appreciate this song over the years, having been more taken with 8 other tracks from the original album. Such was the standard of the album however, I willl still give this classy ballad 4 stars.

I felt in love with this track when I 1st ear it in the Elvis is Back outstanding LP, almost 30 years ago. Nowadays, the thrill still goes as strong as ever. One of my favorite tracks. So pure, so heart full.

One of my favorites. Almost gospel like in this delivery.

I tend to skip this track along with Fever when I play the album.

One of the many highlights from a truly great album "Elvis Is Back". This one is a soaring ballad that easily ranks in my top 20 of all time favorite Elvis tracks. This is hands down the best Stan Kesler song he sang and Elvis' best performance of a Kesler song. "I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone" is one of Elvis' lesser sun tracks and "I Forgot To Remember To Forget" is good, but Elvis was nowhere near being the vocalist in the mid 50's that he would be in 1960.

This is a great song from what is perhaps Elvis' best album. I know several fans who have this one in their top 5.

I'm Left Your Right She's Gone and I Forget to Remember To Forget To Forget Her, both co written by Stan Kesler, are two of my favourite Elvis songs. This one I have never liked.

All of Stan Kessler's compositions for Elvis have that nice, plaintive feel to them. My fave is Playing for Keeps but this one is also great. Lovely.
